In response to the devastating disaster in Nepal, Didibahini Women’s Network Australia (DWNA) proudly donated AUD $20,000 today to the Government of Nepal’s Disaster Relief Fund to support relief and recovery efforts.
This was made possible through the incredible generosity and solidarity of our members, families, friends, GoFundMe donors, advisors, unit committees, NSW State Committee and our valued sponsors.
This evening, we also gathered for a Candlelight Vigil, observing one minute of silence to honour those who tragically lost their lives and to stand in solidarity with everyone affected.
